About: Russ Kerr

I was born and raised in South Florida, got my degree in theater and moved to New York in 2005. I began my training with Josh Griffiths in February of 07 with no grappling experience. I was 31 and looking for an alternative to going to the gym to stay in shape and after the first day of training I was hooked. Now Jiu-Jitsu has become a great part of my life and I received my purple belt in August of 09. Jiu-Jitsu is the best gift I have given my self and something I will be doing forever.
